Organized camping is a creative, educational experience in cooperative group spending time in the outdoors. It uses the natural surroundings to contribute significantly to physical, mental, spiritual, and social growth.

- Camping helps campers develop self-reliance and resourcefulness.

- Camping enhances spiritual growth. Reconnecting with nature is one of the best sources of relaxation.

- Camping contributes to social development.

- Camping is an experience in citizenship training.

- Camping introduces the Scouts to the knowledge and skills they will learn and apply more thoroughly as adults.


Outdoor adventure is the promise made to boys when they join Scouting. Young people yearn for outdoor programs that fires up their imagination and interest. In addition, they gain a deeper understanding of issues that stir up our society on various topics connected with conservation issues.
