Troop 540, located in Ambler, PA!

About
We are a small but strong troop of boys dedicated to serving the communities of Ambler and Upper Dublin, as well as the surrounding areas. We are part of the Cradle Of Liberty Council of the Baden-Powell District of the Boy Scouts Of America. We love meeting, camping, and generally being involved in all kinds of scouting activities! We meet on Mondays at 7:30pm at Our Lady Of Mercy Regional Catholic School, located at 29 Conwell Drive, Ambler PA 19002. We are always open to all who want to find out more about scouting! Click the contact button to email us with any questions or for more information, and we will promptly get back to you!
Getting Involved
Boy Scouting is a boy-run, boy-led program. It means that every decision made by the troop involves working together as a team to find new, better ways of delivering scouting to our members. However, scouting is not limited to boys only. Adults are an integral part of any troop, guiding the boys, teaching and supervising, showing by example, and genuinely caring about the upcoming generation. There are many ways to get involved in the Troop's activities, depending on your time, availability, and desire. From planning activities to helping make important decisions, all hands on deck are always appreciated!
Scout Motto
Be prepared.
Scout Law
A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
